turkey helper

I don't think I ever had Hamburger Helper growing up, but I based this meal off of that general idea.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pasta noodles of your choice
  • 5 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • Water equivalent to 2 empty cans of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
Directions
  1. Boil water in a large pot, add pasta and cook until noodles are to your liking.
  2. While pasta cooks, brown turkey in a large skillet with olive oil, garlic, and onion. Stir frequently.
  3. While turkey cooks, mix tomato paste with water; add italian seasoning.
  4. Pour sauce over the thoroughly cooked turkey.
  5. Drain pasta when done and add to turkey and sauce.
  6. Mix well and serve with grated parmesan cheese.
