Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4cup oil
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- Mix warm water, yeast, sugar, and honey
- Proof yeast
- Add salt, wheat germ, oat flour, whole wheat flour (just 1 cup)
- Mix well
- Add egg and oil
- Add oats and remaining whole wheat flour (gradually)
- Let rise for 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Sprinkle a bit of flour on a clean counter
- Divide dough in half
- Shape into 2 bread loves and place in bread pans
- Let rise another 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes
