Yes, I said MICROWAVE. Chef Jeff made this with his momma growing up and I made it for the first time this morning. I just can't get over that it bakes in the microwave in 5 minutes. Crazy! It was all from scratch, but very quick and tasty. Try it! It's a great for a Sunday brunch.Ingredients
Cake
- 2 cups flour
 - 1/2 cup sugar
 - 3 teaspoons baking powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 2 eggs, beaten
 - 1/2 cup cooking oil
 - 1/2 cup milk
 
Topping
- 2 tablespoons flour
 - 1 tablespoon cinnamon
 - 1 tablespoon cocoa
 - 1/2 cup sugar
 - 1/4 cup cold butter
 
Glaze
- 3/4 cups powdered sugar
 - 1 tablespoon milk
 
Directions
- Mix together dry cake ingredients, set aside
 - Mix together eggs, oil, and milk and add to dry ingredients
 - Mix well
 - Pour batter into 9x9 glass dish
 - Make topping by mixing everything together and cutting the butter into the dry ingredients
 - Add topping to cake batter
 - Microwave on high for 5-7 minutes
 - Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar and milk together in a bowl
 - Drizzle glaze on top of cake
